How it works:
Submission:
Monday, July 5, 2010 10:00 AM CT - Saturday, July 10, 2010 11:59 PM CT
The contest is open to Louisiana residents 18 years of age and older. One entry per household, please.
Photo entries should convey patriotism or American pride in a positive manner and must be appropriate for a family audience. Contest entrants must hold the copyright to the photo submitted and must have permission from all persons appearing in the photo to submit their likeness. Please see the Official Contest Rules for more specific guidelines.
Entries will be divided into two random segments for voting in two primary rounds. The top five winners of each primary round will be eligible to compete in a final round of voting.
Primary Voting:
- Round 1: Monday, July 12, 2010 10:00 AM CT - Sunday, July 18, 2010 11:59 PM CT
- Round 2: Monday, July 19, 2010 10:00 AM CT - Sunday, July 25, 2010 11:59 PM CT
The Top 5 winners from each round advance to the Top 10.
Final Voting (Top 10):
Monday, July 26, 2010 10:00 AM CT. - Sunday, August 1, 2010 11:59 PM CT
The Grand Prize Winner and 2 Runners-Up will be determined from this round.
Winners will be announced the week of August 2, 2010.
Prizes:
Grand Prize: $500
Runners-Up: Two runners-up receive $50.
Note: Votes are tracked both by e-mail and IP address. Voters may vote under their own names and e-mail address only. No voter is permitted to vote multiple times on behalf of others. Any attempt by a contestant to vote more than once per day will result in disqualification of all activity produced by that voter.
