How it works:
Submission:

The contest is open to Lousiana residents 18 years of age and older. One entry per household, please.
Photo entries should convey patriotism and national pride in a positive manner and must be appropriate for a family audience. Contest entrants must hold the copyright to the photo submitted and must have permission from all persons appearing in the photo to submit their likeness. Please see the Official Contest Rules for more specific guidelines.
Entries will be divided into two random segments for voting in two primary rounds. The top five winners of each primary round will be eligible to compete in a final round of voting.
Primary Voting:
- Round 1: Monday, July 11, 2010 10:00 AM CT - Saturday, July 17, 2010 11:59 PM CT
- Round 2: Monday, July 18, 2010 10:00 AM CT - Saturday, July 24, 2010 11:59 PM CT
The Top 5 winners from each round advance to the Top 10.
Final Voting (Top 10):
Monday, July 25, 2010 10:00 AM CT - Saturday, Aug. 1, 2010 11:59 PM CT
The Grand Prize Winner and 2 Runners-Up will be determined from this round.
Winners will be announced the week of Aug. 2, 2010.
Prize:
Winner will receive a Fuiji HS10 Digital Camera.
Note: Votes are tracked both by e-mail and IP address. Voters may vote under their own names and e-mail address only. No voter is permitted to vote multiple times on behalf of others. Any attempt by a contestant to vote more than once per day will result in disqualification of all activity produced by that voter.
